A highly-experienced local government director, Paddy was previously Head of Economy, Skills and Property Development at Swindon Borough Council. Paddy has a wide range of experience in the public and private sectors, working as a business analyst and system designer. He also spent over 20 years in education as a teacher, head teacher and education inspector.

    Instagram Vs Snapchat: social media in 2017

    Natalie Luckham is the founder of Naturally Social - a Wiltshire based social media management and training consultancy. Natalie is a passionate and effective social media practitioner and has been working in the industry for 6 years. She has worked with an array of clients ranging from public and private sector and include clients in hospitality, leisure, nhs, events, charities and social enterprises, retail, startups and many small businesses.

    Instagram and Snapchat have more users than Twitter and both have pretty astounding growth rates. Instagram recently went head to head with Snapchat when it introduced it's new 'stories' feature - proving the hype about snap was worth contending with. Both channels have a similar audience and although Instagram has Facebook on it's side Snapchat isn't backing down and continues to develop it's offering. Visitors attending this workshop can expect to leave with an understanding of how each channel is being used, why and by who and more importantly how it could work for them. There will also be opportunity for Q & A and hands on help with getting started at the end of the session.

    Simon Rhodes is the Senior Partner at Trethowans solicitors, having been the firm’s Managing Partner before that. During Simon’s time at Trethowans, the firm’s turnover has grown from £6million to £15million and the firm has become a leading law firm in the South. Simon heads the Trethowans’ Employment law Team and is ranked as a leading individual by Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession. Simon is also recommended by the Legal 500. For over 20 years, Simon has advised global, national and regional business on employment and people issues, helping them to build successful teams and manage challenging people issues.

    Outside Trethowans, Simon helped to create the Salisbury Big Business Event and remains fully involved in this its 6th year. Simon also created and co-organises the Solent Business Growth Summit, currently in its 4th year. Both events are growing success stories. Simon is a speaker and business panel member at the South Coast Business Works event; and a judge and speaker at the South Coast Business of the Year Awards. Simon has also been Chair of Future Southampton which involved driving the business agenda and working with the city’s key institutions and many leading businesses. The successful Southampton Business Improvement District project began through this. Simon has chaired three sustainability conferences in the region and remains passionate about the green agenda. Simon is a trustee of the Southampton Cultural Development Trust, supporting culture and the arts. Simon sits on the Hampshire Chamber’s Bank of England Panel and has sat on its Southampton Business Board. Simon is also working with Hampshire Chamber on its county-wide Skills Gap project. In his spare time, Simon is a mentor for business and sporting leaders.
